SunnyBeach boasts a wealth of bars, restaurants and nightclubs to suit all tastes.
The cost of eating and drinking in Bulgaria remains a fraction of that of many other European countries,
even in the tourist hotspots.
Some interesting local specialities prepared from organic products that are worth a try including Shopska
Salad, made from chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pepers and sprinkled with “Sirene” (Bulgarian
white cheese), Kavarma- local meat and vegetable stew, also the famous Bulgarian yoghurt and Kebapcheta-

stuffed with meat, Banitsa is a pastry stuffed with fruit or cheese.
Bulgaria still retains the fresh local fruit and vegetables that much of the rest of Europe has now lost to the
emergence of mass market supermarkets. Fish lovers should head to Old Nessebar, where the restaurants
overlooking the sea serve up the local catch. Rakia is a strong local spirit, made from grapes, and there is a
wide variety of red and white Bulgarian Wines to try.
Night Life
This is a great place for night-life with plenty of restaurants, bars, casinos, discos and nightclubs around the
coast line from traditional to modern open until late.
For those who want to experience a thrilling night take your pick from the three main groups of
entertainment spots:

Old town of Nessebur - (only 2km from Elit2 Holiday Village, SunnyBeach) a small rocky town, included in the
UNESCO list of World Heritage, living monument of millennial human history, ancient fortress walls, mediaeval
churches, narrow cobblestone lanes, old wooden houses with strings of dried fish hanging from their roofs.
It is a real romantic heaven for fishermen, artists and lovers of beauty.
